Let us not forget other mods worthy of creation.

Macross/Robotech, Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica, Gundam

Obviously Star Trek, and Star Wars will make great mods. But there are other series that are worthy of modding as well. Namely:

Macross/Robotech

Babylon 5

Gundam

and Battlestar Galactica

Would anyone else be intrested in playing a mod based on these series?

If anyone could create the VF-1 Valkyrie as a tiny class ship and a Super/Fast Pack Valkyrie for the small class I'd be vewy, vewy happy. Heck, throw in the Macross as huge hull.

No Stargate fans?

The Civilizations make themselves (if only they knew how to mod) -- The Wraith (Drengin), the Go'auld, the Replicators (Yor), Altarian (Asgard)... Hive ships, Aurora class "precursor" ships, Deathgliders, etc..etc... perfect for a more "epic" sandbox game.

Hmmm...

I may just have to learn how to mod myself.

It's hard to imagine robotech.. but changing transports to dropships wouldn't be hard.. maybe making the invasion pic show the mechs fighting instead of the 18 wheelers behind the troops, lol.

I think robotech would be an awsome mod. Always have loved that series. There is plenty of ship designs that you could use, but im not sure about the number of races. I think there is only the humans and the zentradi in the original macross.

I'd like to see the Yor Collective modded to be the Transformers, ala "Cybertronian Empire" for instance.

If we could access 'random event' and 'planetary event' (maybe even 'bonus tiles') stuff in modding, a Star Control mod would be FANTASTIC

but then again, I'm a sad, sadl ittle fanboy!
