Help! Can't get the game to launch!

Help! I am trying to play GalCiv 2 and am getting error when trying to launch.

When I try to run galciv2.exe I get : "the parameter is incorrect" (there is no parameter that I know of!)
When I try to run GC2Launch.exe I get: "Only part of a ReadprocessMemory or WriteProcessMemory request was completed"

I have been running the game fine since release. No problems at all. Now all the sudden this! Please help.

Edit: In addition, I cannot get Stardock Central to launch! I double click on it and it just sits there. Nothing happens at all. Also, if it is any consequence, the icon for the galciv2.exe is gone too. Just the normal windows .exe icon now. SOMEONE HELP ME!

Well, until support gets around to you... have you tried re-installing?

I would think a reinstall would be a quick and simple solution. Though I don't know why you would be seeing ReadprocessMemory or WriteProcessMemory problems.

Yeah, I just went ahead and re-installed. Seems to be working okay now. Stardock and GalCiv 2. I actually couldn't find the un-install option until I got StarDock to open (it is in there).

Anyway, crisis averted. Life is good once again!
