Fundamentalists???

I was at war with the Terran Alliance and then a message popped up saying "Our agents have informed us that the Terran Alliance has made peace with the Fundamentalists," A few hours later after the Terrans were eradicated by the all might mua. Another one telling me that the Drath have made peace with the Fundamentalists popped up. I went to the relations screen thinking they might be a Minor Race, nope screen was blank because the Minor Races which were origanally there were dead. I went to view the relations report of the Torians and it said they were at war with the Fundamentalists and the same for the Iconians.



So who are the Fundamentalists? Where are they? and why do they hate everyone?

They are a faction that appears via events. As their name implies they are a religious faction that is very warlike. AFAIK, they don't attack good aligned teams.

I don't remember there being an event for a new minor race called fundamentalist ever showing up, there has been events where races such as the Vegans and the Scottlingas. So I would be at war with these fanatics since i am neutral. Now i'm gonna find these religious zealots and kill them.
