Hi. Just bought the DL version of GCII, and installed via Stardock Central. Now I have my main user account with Poweruser permissions, so I installed using "Run as..." with the Administrative account. Unfortunately, everything in the GCII folder is inaccessible to my Poweruser account, from the app to the .pdf manual to the readme. The shortcuts in the Start menu are the generic Windows .exe shortcuts. Everything ~does~ work as expected when using the Administrator account; I'd just prefer not to have to do that.
I routinely install programs by doing a "Run as" on installer executables, and this is the first time I've seen something like this: I'd be surprised if it were something other than some odd permissions issue.
Is there a workaround for this that wouldn't involve having to re-download the game, change my main user account to administrative permissions, or have to play as Administrator? And might there be a fix for this down the road?
