Breaking Alliance with Minor Race

I was playing a game where I was allied with a minor but expansionistic race. They were wiping out the Taurians who I wanted to keep alive so after getting tired of buying peace with the Minor I decide to knock out some of their ships...but I can't because they are an ally and I can't attack them without first formally breaking my alliance. I try to do that but cannot find the appropriate button to break my alliance on the foreign affairs manager, I know how to break major race alliances but how do I break minor race ones?
