Can't see planet and starbase

Hi. I've downloaded and installed the lastest driver from my video card (ATI RADEON 9600XT 256mb) and i can't see the planet nor the starbase. For planet i see some colored circle and for starbase i only see em in tactical view. I also see starship with no detail at all just plain and dull...
