Mouse Lockup

Not sure if anyone else has had this problem but after playing the game for awhile the mouse pointer will lock up and freeze on my screen. I still have mouse control but my pointer is frozen so I am reduced to a blind man waving my mouse frantically to highlight the exit button. The error carries over to windows and can only be resolved by rebooting. I have several games on my machine and I only get an error while playing this.

Athlon 64 xp 3500
2 gig dual ram
BFG Geforce 7800 GTX
Windows Xp Pro
Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 3.0 - Black

Change your mouse setting to "hardware" in the graphics option. My Nvidia card has this issue, too. Hopefully, it will be resolved in a future patch.

I have had the mouse lockup problem too. I always have to reboot my computer to fix it. I will have to try that mouse setting to hardware trick and see if it works.
