Achilles' Heel bug

Sorry if this is a repost but I just finished the Seige scenario in the Campaign on Normal Difficulty and when I went to start the next scenario Achilles' Heel the default difficulty was set to Cakewalk. I've always seen the difficulty remain the same as the last time you played so I almost overlooked it. I reloaded the last saved game in Seige and tried to reproduce it, it was again stuck on Cakewalk. It's not a big bug or anything but someone might accidently play the scenario on Cakewalk difficulty real easily.

is it a bug or did the designers intended for that to be the default difficulty? I would not be so quick to call it a bug..

Just to confirm that I see the same thing too. Maybe the mission is difficult enough so that the default difficulty is set to Cakewalk? I'm still in the early stages of Achilles' Heel on Normal so I do not know if the mission will be tough in the end. I do know that the DLs attack my allies' undefended colonies very early in the game though. I had to design and buy some good ships to defend a bit.
