Hi,
I haven't found a thread/post about this (which is good but makes me a tad uncomfortable :-] ), so here goes:
playing my first game, huge galaxy with abundant habitable planets & running the latest patch, I encountered the following problem:
I use the numpad to move my ships around (so Numlock off). This worked fine, until today: all of a sudden, using the keys in the numpad not only moves my ships around, but also changes the zoom on the main map. This goes on for a few minutes (a keystroke changes the zoom only in small increments), then in one keystroke I zoom out so far the entire galaxy becomes a small point in the middle. I cannot zoom in again, at least it seems like it - pressing the zoom-key (+) for one minute doesn't produce any change.
Now the first time I encountered this problem, I had been playing for a few hours (great game btw, cheers!) Loading the save did not solve the problem (the map would stay zoomed out). Exiting the game, restarting and loading the save does, even if I use a savegame with the map zoomed out. However, the problem will reappear after 5-15 minutes.
This is my first game, so I assume it has something to do with the progress of the game.
Any ideas/Suggestions?
