planet numbers

ok, posting this again. cause last time i posted it and god only knows where the post ended up.

ok, planet numbers. stop me when i'm wrong, but they are 0-20 aint they?

while i'm waiting for replies, i think i'll have some of whatever the person who designed this message board system was smoking at the time. it must have been pretty good stuff!

To answer the question you asked, there's never more than five planets to a star, so planet numbers go 1 to 5. Or I to V.

To answer the question you wanted to ask, planet quality goes from 0 to 26, I believe, for the initial generation of planets. Subsequent events can raise or lower the planet quality. The maximum useable tiles is 72, and the hard-coded limit for quality is 1000, iirc.

I think I remember the 'official' numbers being between 0-26, but they can theoretically go higher.

ignore me, the other thread i posted on this subject, then lost, then found again after i posted this has answered the question and confirmed it was me being daft.

what is with this message board anyway? is figuring out it's magical ways some sort of test for us?
