Collector's Addition Content?

Well, frankly, I didn't know the game was going to be this good. I've lost sleep, cleared the weekend, and getting ready for some awesome gaming. I've created awesome custom races (my favorite option so far.. expecially since I can give ship descriptions), but I have an issue...

I didn't know the game would be this good and I really would like the collector's addition content. Is there anyway that I could maybe download it (as with other plays being able to do that) via some sort of method from the website? I'd be more than willing to pay the extra $10 for it, but it doesn't seem to be an option. Thanks!

To be honest, the CE content is nice but is no huge deal. You get an alternate GalCiv Windows Desktop and something like 12 - 15 extra pieces of Jewelry to decorate ships with. If you don't have it already, I wouldn't worry about it.

I did the download + CD mailed to me option and ended up with the collectors edition. It was a pleasant unexpected surprise, though there is not much more to the CE than the regular version.

is it true the collector's edition has a poster of the tech tree? that's sweet.

The regular galciv2 has a thick box, was expecting more than just CD and manual, but there's no tech tree poster:( that's kind of sad. But I never lose faith, I just printed a tech tree from the internet, made it a black and white, to save colour, and made it negative so there's more white than black to save black ink, it didn't print well on a 11x8.5 paper so I have to write down all the name of the tech... it was well worth it.

It's done a good job for me to get an Idea of where my tech is now and where my research is going, and what tech to trade, buy and sell...
