Anyone know what FONTS the game uses?

I have reported this issue to tech support & they are looking into it, but it is taking soooo long and I just really really want to play.

I've had the following issue:


Part of the in-game screens coming up in gobbledigook. Having looked at another copy of this game on my boyfriend's PC, we've been able to figure out that this could potentially be as simple as a corrupted font on my system (here's hoping anyway) because it seems that the game is attempting to write in English, but can't find the right characters.


If anyone knows how to solve this, or knows which fonts the game uses, I'd be really grateful of a reply!

Fonts used in the game are : -

ARLRDBD.ttf

BankGthd.ttf

They can be found in C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\Fonts. If they are not running correctly try loading htem into windows manually bu copying them into the windows/fonts folder.

Is there a way to make the basic fonts bigger say from 10pt to 12 or 14pt ? Fonts are tiny when playing at higher res. I'd even have bigger font in 1024&768.
