Screen Capture

The easiest way to capture a screenie is to press the PrtScn button and then Alt-Tab out of the game and open up an image editor (I use Irfanview as its quick, easy and good) and paste the saved image. PrtScn saves the image to the clipboard.

As for third party programs, i am using Screenshot Utility (http://www.screenshot-utility.com) which comes with a 30 day trial ($20 to register). This program can be configured to take an image with a pre-defined hotkey combination and also save the created image to file as a .bmp, a .jpg or a .gif. that way you need not stop playing the game

irfanview will also take screen captures via definable hotkey or timer

Indeed I only use Screenshot utility as i am too lazy to Alt+Tab out of the game each time i want a screenie ,

SU also sits in your sys tray and can be activated at any time without having to open up a program first. Handy if you want a quick screenshot taken.

Get Wondershare DemoCreator, Democreator creates software tutorial and presentation by recording screen, but more than a screen recorder, you can record all the actions taking on the application and then add some tips or instructions to it, even more, you can easily add the narration from microphone or import audio file directly. At last, you can publish it to Flash, auto-run CD, EXE, e-mail, ftp, LMS. As you know, flash file has smaller size and is safer for transmission, i think it will be useful for you!

the newest beta patch of DA has a screenshot feature - press ctrl + PrintScreen and it'll show up in a new subfolder of you My Games/Dark Avatar folder.

i have used kind of screen capture software called ACA Capture Pro, i think it can handle it .
