Modding request: Creating the star trek galaxy

I'm looking for a mod that creates ship addon designs that makes the ships I create look more like star trek ships (federation, romulan, klingon, borg, dominion...etc). I am also looking for a mod that changes the tech tree in such a way that you research star trek oriented technology. Also, create different races and AI that correlate with all series' that make it a more rounded and comlex playing environment.

I would try to create this mod, but I have no knowledge in programming\configuring games. Anyone who is considering creating this mod contact me so that we can join up and make the mod as true to the series' as possible.

HOnestly stardock should talk to the right people and put out an expansion Galactic Civilizations: Star Trek. for 9.99 ...I'd buy it

Why don't you just play Birth of the Federation?

BTW, the minor races in that game were way cooler then the ones in this game.

People don't play BotF because they've got better things to do than convince it to work under XP and it's crap.

And guys: star names are stored in a text file called 'stars.txt'. Just edit the names. I changed my names to be from Star Control, for instance (and Alpha Lalande sounds cooler than 'Xisier' or whatever). I enjoy laughing at crap SW/ST games to want to play a mod themed on those franchises.
