Rolling back to previous versions.

roll back ?

i an unhappy with the current build of the game, specificly an issue with upgrading my ships. but thats not what i want to talk about.

is there a way to roll back the game to another patch point ?
currently im at 1.0X.010
i had no issues with 1.0X.009 (i think thats the number)

Only if you archived the game via SDC prior to patching (or if have the retail disc you can play the initial release version).

the method of archiving is not exactly clear,
i have auto-archive checked, but i have no clue how to work it

i think ive figured it out, but when i ask for version 9, it says 10 is already installed. so then i asked for 8, and it just asked if i was sure i wanted to go from 10 to 9. known bug with the archive ?
