Infernarl: what do you all think about a more robust ship designing program that would let you design all the ships you will use before the game even starts

Infernarl: so you can have your fast colony ship faster colony ship fastest colony ship
Infernarl: all designed before you start
Infernarl: you can already do that, but you have to play a game long enough to get the techs

Infernarl: that way you will have all your standard designs ready despite what weapon paths you chose

Vler: Infernarl, it already does it for me really..I mean, anything you build and save carries over, so i start out with whatever designs ive built just wating for me
Infernarl: but you gotta play that far in that way at least once
Vler: I guess I can see where going down a new tech path could mean new ships, but in general, ive played enough that most of my ships have been made in old games
Vler: Yea, i see what you mean
Vler: Sorry, i wasnt thinking through really
Infernarl: i was thinking that i wanted to design ships from the end back, and you can;t really do that
Infernarl: build an ultimate ship and then build lesser steps all the way up to that
