How to get SmartExpection to work?

GalCiv2 has crashed several times...

I downloaded and are running the SmartExpection program, GalCiv2 has crashed TWICE and NOTHING has shown up in SmartExpection's Expection list. No dumps to email, nothing. How do you get this to work?

Thanks for any help.

You don't have to do anything to get it to work, it should be detecting the crashes automatically.  Do you get Windows crash dialogs also or is the game just dropping to the desktop?

With all due respect, if it cant intercept such crashes, what good is it?
I've had the game crash several times too... nothing yet in Smart Exception.

I have had two crashes and SmartException picked up on both. Although when I tried to email the exceptions (actually just compressing the dump files) SmartException crashed saying it couldn't find 'sdczip'. I just love it when the debug software crashes

BTW. SmartException writes the dump files to c:\ If you feel like it, you can have a look at them with Visual Studio or equivalent.

If SmartException is not catching the crashes, it could be crashing in one of the dlls or an audio codec rather than in GC2.

Also, is the little SmartException icon showing up in you systray?

I've got the same problem. Smartexception doesn't catch any crashes at all.
