Weird Picture Stretching, Higgledy Piggledy Menu Problem

I'm missing any serial numbers at the moment so it's possible this could be addressed in a patch I haven't got, but just in case...

After loading up the game, the opening cinematics and main menu are "stretched" off the right side of the screen, as if it's a 4:3 image stretched to fit a non-existant widescreen monitor. To make matters worse the menu options are all over the place, which led to much hilarity on discovering the options button hidden behind the title.

Does anyone have any idea what's going on?

Sorry for the bump, but I thought I'd give this another chance while I head off to bed. Thanks in advance if anyone has a solution, or even just an explanation!

This happened to me on a few screens in the game until I downloaded my latest drivers. The old ones were only three or four months old, so I figured they were up to date.

Problem solved.

the same thing happened to me but when i updated my drivers it was fine

I was worried someone was going to say that.

I have an Evesham laptop fitted with a Geforce 4 440 Go graphics card, and until the new nVidia Omega Drivers get released I don't think I can update my drivers. Ho hum.

EDIT: Never mind! Problem solved, thanks to the brilliant www.laptopvideo2go.com and their ingenius drivers.
