Starbase woes

I'm having a hard time with two aspects of starbases. For one, since they aren't very visible on the minimap and are often hard to distinguish on the main map (if there are dozens of them), I often have a hard time finding them. The best way seems to be zooming all the way out on the main map and icon hunting. Can they be given their own toggle & made more obvious on the minimap? How about a tab for them in the planet/ship pop-up page?

Also, I'm usually not big on naming my starbases, so when a constructor reaches one and asks if I want to upgrade, I hardly ever know which base its asking about (again when I have many of them). It'd be great if the minimap zoomed in on the starbase it was talking about and lit it up.

There is already a way to find them. Click on the Planet/Ship list (BOTTOM LEFT ICON). With that screen up... Click the view ships icon. Finally click Starbases. It will show you ALL of the SB currently constructed that you have discovered.

Very important to track wich SB you are upgrading. Even with out names you should know that you sent a constructor to a paticular SB and what the next upgrade is going to be. Ohterwise you will be sending constructor to the wrong place.

I agree, especially on the zooming in on the starbase to be upgraded. I usually click cancel then find the constructor on the map and initiate the upgrade again...

Yeah and of course there doesn't seem to be a way to do that immediately, so you have to move the constructor away & then back again. Or am I wrong about that one?

Yeah, its too bad too, han has already released most of the ones spleeze made. if he had released them han could have worked on different races.

Upgrading starbases is a no-brainer type of thing. You really don't need to know where it is in order to know what it needs next. At least for me.
I always put the improvement modules on first, then defenses and weapons if I want them on that type of starbase. So if a window pops up from a constuctors arrival I just scroll down the list to see what the next available upgrade is. I can tell from the screen what type of starbase it is, and that is all I need to know.
