Big Fleets ! Read

Heya there.

I think some people are bored of max 4 or 5 Ships in a Fleet. So here is a little Tutorial how to create BIG Fleets.

Open the techtree.xml in the data Folder in ur Galactic Civ Folder. Then look out for the Techs for "Logistics" and change the default stuff to higher stuff. Actually , ive a limit of around 15 Ships per Fleet. But Caution ! If u change these settings, the game gets a little bit harder

I played a game last weekend where I had 48 logistics, it allowed me to make a fleet of 24 tiny ships. No need to modify the tech tree!

I recall one of the developers altered the data so he could try a 100 v 100 battle during the beta. Pretty sure there was a screenshot somewhere.

The Power Duel scenario allows for this. I don't know if it works in larger, multiple-opponent games, though. . .

I've managed to get my Logistics into the low 80's by deliberately culture-flipping/invading whatever planet the AI built his Hyperion Logistics Centers on. Of course, this was on a gigantic galaxy with 9 opponents, any less and I doubt it would be practical.
