Collectors Download?

I have The Limited Edition (Europe).

I have downloaded the latest update via Stardock automatically.
What I need to know is: is this the BASIC game update or is the collectors edition stuff included?
It is a bit confusing. Also, I have not been able to download the 'Enable Collectors Edition Content' seperately on here since Friday.
The page sticks and does not load.

Can anyone please help me with this? EDIT: Have downloaded the content. WEBMASTER ! - it seems firefox does not work with this part of the site. I used IE instead...

A follow-up:
The collectors edition content is NOT enabled by the stardock update - I only got the collectors edition stuff after manually downloading the enabled content patch from here.
This is confusing and perhaps it should be made more clear

Pardon the off-topicness, but as a fellow European Limited Editioner I don't suppose you could tell me where the serial number's supposed to be? I'm either going blind, or missing it completely.

I hope it's the former...

Hi, just wanted to install GalCiv2 again and downloaded SD Central to get the game. I was looking for the CE Items and the other downloads but they are not on the downloads page anymore?! What happened to them? How can you get the Editor Items from the CE now?

I already found something on this post from almost a year ago. I asked something similar back then:

Kyro (Stardock) answered with: "SDC does not apply the CE unlock, so just run it at any time after you've gotten the game installed. "

I wonder whether this answer still holds? So if you install 1.5 for DL or install DA, do you still have to apply the CE unlock? And do you do this when you have updated the game, or after a fresh install before updating?

Guys, I'm almost certain that DA or at least the 1.61 latest version already includes all of the DL Collector's Edition special content (essentially extra ship components - mostly ugly ones ).

I have both DL Collector's Ed and the Gold Edition. However on my new desktop I only installed Gold, then immediately added latest update. I seem to have all the same components that I have on my laptop, which went through the progression of DL, Coll. Ed., DA, latest version update. And in the Gold Ed documentation and inserts there is no mention of Coll Ed as a separate entity.

I found a reply from kryo in another post that says CE stuff is all available in current downloads / updates, except the box and poster.

I tried to link it but couldn't figure out how (must turn in my geek card now).

If you have the latest version off SDC and the CE stuff still isn't working, look for the CE link in the footer of the downloads page.
