ATI Mobility Drivers

Hey there galciv2 community. I'm hoping someone out there can help me with an issue. I'm running the game on my laptop, a Toshiba A75-S209 with an ATI Mobility 9000 IGP graphics card. The problem is the display drivers that Toshiba offers are almost two years old and I can't find any drivers that will work with my system. The ATI Mobility drivers that ATI offers say they are incompatible with my system. I can run the game, but choppily and with occasional random crashes. I know that this is the fault of the video drivers but does anyone out there know where I can get newer drivers for my laptop?

Get the Omega drivers, worked for me and my Radeon 9000. http://www.omegadrivers.net/

Thanks, they've installed without any issues, now just to test it out with the game

Do you happen to know a way to change the video memory buffer through the omega drivers? It's set at 64MB right now, which is where I usually have it, but occassionally I turn it up to 128, or do I need to go through the BIOS now?

Download the file at this page:

Works for all Ati Mobility versions, even my old Ati Mobility 7500

Hmm, it seems the forum can't handle that link..

Anyway, look for the Radeon Omega Drivers 3.8.221 (Catalyst 6.2).

I have been using the Omega's for my old ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 for a year or two. Simply fantastic.

Now I just tried "rad_w2kxp_omega_38330_7z_fixed" Omega Drivers for my Inspiron 9100 with a mobility 0700 and it really didn't like it. has anyone else had these issues. In fact I have issues with pretty much any driver I've tried.
