It's not a problem, since I've got the CE. Interesting question though, since the CE bits are 'in' a regular install, and just locked. Perhaps you'd be able to see them.

Too bad my Vorlon-inspired attack fleet was erased when I patched.


If you still have your old saves that had them enabled, load up the game and go into your ship designer. Re-save the design to a new name and it should be accessible on your next new game.

If you don't have 'em, I'm sorry for your loss. =\

err.. seems it takes some time till downloads are available in the metaverse (uploaded yesterday..)
so i brought up my design on another server: try it out if it works to get the design (based on large shiphull) in the game..

You guys make me want to play the game. Sadly I have had the game now for about 2 weeks and I have only been able to play for 4 hours. Stupid having to be responsible. I did have fun though for those 4 hours. The ships designs here are amazing. I was playing with it a little bit but now I might have to buy a new laptop so that I can play this game on my couch as well. Maybe then I will get more play time.

Keep up the great work all and to Stardock.... Thank you for making a game so amazing. I loved the first one but this really does remind me of playing Pax Imperia and MOO back when I was young. You guys rule and I am ready for when GalCiv 3 comes out. Gotta plan for the future.

Here is my best Hack at a starcraft style terran battle cruiser
i had real problems filing in empty space especially around the from
I hope future bits will include an big choice of basic shaped panels and
simple geometric objecxts like cubes
This would make it much less brain wracking when trying to come up with
the right piece to suit my needs

wow those ships are all sooo cool! Also I notice that Citizen Soor has the exact same colour scheam as I use for my Vangaurd race.

I will post a picture of the ship I have been working on as soon as it is finished so you guys can see what you think of it.

I made a group of arachnid ships with no components so in other Terran games they should be available as soon as the root hull is

Tried my hand at a more classic battleship design while making heavy use of Kryo's Hull System Mod. Found that the Human tiny hulls make for great angular filler pieces. I call this one the Arbiter.

Adept, that is a beaut.

I've lost all my designs for some reason with the recent update. Then found I could make ships, but whenever I saved them and reloaded them, I'd find that it had only saved 1/4 of the design (like the first quarter would be detailed, but the rest would be a bare hull). Really depressing, so I did a complete reinstall of everything, and so far everything looks like it's working all right.
