Awesome guys, now you are forcing me to unveil some of the Dark Dread Lords ships..... nahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! I will keep them in secret until the Dark Avatar is release in the fall of 2006 (the new expansion for GC 2)

I, for one, would like to download and use some of these fantastic custom ships.
Is that going to be possible sometime in the near future?

Some of these designs use parts that I can't seem to find anywhere! Like parts of some of the standard hulls. And the radar dish? Where do you get it? I need to knoooow...

The radar dish is a collector's edition part. The hulls vary but everyone has access to them.

My game box says "Collector's Edition" on it, in bold letters, and I'm not finding it anywhere. Is it an extra or something else?

What image button? I don't have one and just end up using html to insert the images

I was wondering how anyone could design a self respecting sensor ship without a load of radar dishes included Here is a version of one of my pre CE designs. The other one in the pic above is just what I had lying around in screenshots, but this is what i use now.

First of all, thanks, sleek and down-to-earth, naval kinda style is exactly what I aimed for,
since this is the terran navy after all.

Secondly, yea I'm using the mod where u can use any hull as parts,
makes it that much easier to make sleek looking designs since you can link hulls together
to extend the overall length of the ship
So far my favorite hulls are the alterian & drengin large hulls, kinda obvious from my ships all using them in one
way or another. They're both clean/sleek and earthly in their own ways, makes it easy to add to them while not being too "busy" so as to preserve the Militant/Pragmatic feel, maybe my White/Dark Grey color scheme kinda added to that feel too, who knows

Maybe there's a place you can change forum settings. I have all these options by default. Anyone else care to comment on this?

My design-fu is weak, so I'm interested to know if anyone's going to be providing their designs for download. I rarely spend more than five minutes putting fins on my ships, but I'd love to use some of these great designs!

Well, i dont know about lohengram, but all mine use CE jewelry. I wonder if those woudl work if you put them in - could you use them, and just not be able to put those pieces into your own ships, or would the pieces just be "missing"?
