Danielost: Ha! A mall. It looks awesome, it really does. But ummm... a mall??? And cynic2005: Nice. And that is an awesome color scheme you made. Copper and pewter or whatever you call it. Now I'm going to need to try to duplicate it in a game.

Okay, now I'm going to post more. Alright, this is a good chunk of the Imperion line. I made Halcyon on Terran hulls. These are made on Drengin hulls. The first two ships are the Imperion Zealot heavy fighter and the Imperion Jericho class frigate.

And here are the medium and large ships, the Imperion Gilead class cruiser and the Imperion Hebron class battleship. I have not finished a huge hull ship that I liked enough not to delete. And honestly, with the Drengin hulls, the fighters are the hardest to make, not the big stuff. Anyway, more ships with engines in the front:

The Imperion freighter design that started the major themes in the warship design. Notice the nifty but pointless radar dish. I have no idea why I did that. I'm sure I saw someone else do it and wanted to try.

Actually, I really like the pic where you lined up all your stuff. I am definitely going to try that, not sure if it will be as cool for ships as it was for your bases. In fact, I'll probably load up and try after I post this. This is not exactly what I had intended for my huge hulled Imperion warship, but it's as close as I have patience to get right now. The Imperion Zion class war titan:

I can tell from the sensor ship above that I'll have some new toys with which to improve my renditions of starfleet vessels. Does the DA beta have compatibility with Kryo's hull mod?

i think it is kryo's hull mod plus

DA has the blank multihardpoint hull like Kryo's mod and a lot of new parts; styles to choose from.

Can someone please post a ship building tutorial?

me i just arrange the parts into something i like and go with it

Yup i am not sure there is a definitive guide to creating ships

Guess you have to let the inner child in you out for a while and just go with the flow... Use your imagination and see what happens. Just keep the designs simple unless you have a cray supercomputer in your home as the more complex a design, the more system resources it hoggs!
