Ok, well I finally was able to get the images to all show, just had to turn Windows IS to allow all cookies(thats plain dumb, it was the problem) and turn off Zone Alarm all together(not sure why it hates this place I have it allowed to see all images and cookies...) And saw everything. Guess that what I have to do to see the images here. Well atleast the ones that have trouble showing.

Here are my designs for my colony ship and constructor

Colony Ship:
Since the colony ship transports millions of citizens I kinda designed this ship as a small city on a flying platform


There are several buildings, some are mounted onto pillars:

And this is my constructor, on the back of the ship there are many pods containing materiall/tools/whatever to build starbases. On the front I've stuck a couple of robot arms for starbase creation:

Thought Id post a design I quite like: The Harrier (med hull). I tried to keep my designs as sleek and simple as I could. This one I wanted to give a look like a bird of prey, but in battle armour.






I like what the missles do to the aesthetics here.

If you go to the downloads screen, you can download the CE stuff.

I also highly recommend going to the GC2 library and downloading Kyro's ship mod.

That's the main reason I'm only recently starting a metaverse game. I have to admit after a month of using the mod, ship design just isn't the same in metaverse.

Well, now that I've got the 1.1 patch downloaded, I reckon I better give Stargate some mention. Nothing yet but I'm going to try to build a Goa'uld Hatak, an Asgard ship and, of course, the Prometheus. Anyone else wanna give it a try?

Ok sneak preview time

These two ships will be part of my USM (United Space Marines) fleet pack if i ever get round to finishing them So far the Colonizer, Troop Transport and Freighter are complete.. The Constructor will follow the lines of the Troop Transport and the Freighter and be based on a modular design. My little thought behind this is that it would be cheaper to have a 'Tug' and have it coupled to various payloads. This, in my opinion, would be the way to go as it would mean that the 'tug' could be re-used time and time again.
