Game Scroll Speed, Pushing Edge of Play Window, and Arrow Keys?

I currently have the Scroll set to 100% and it is still very slow.

Also, pushing the mouse to the edge (e.g. bottom edge) of the screen does not move the screen many times. You have to move the mouse cursor up and then push the edge again a second time to make it work.

Is it possible to be able to remap the Arrow Keys so they act as a window movement keys and not ship movement? This would allow users to have a choice and be able to use the mouse to select items, ships, planets while still moving the main window around.

This as been the biggest thing that has taken a bit of the fun out as I constantly want to "push" the edge of the screen with the mouse to have it not respond. I have looked to reformat the keys but there is no way to do that.

Please, is there a way to look into these things so everything about GalCiv works at the highest level possible?

Thank you

The fastest way to move the main screen is by dragging it with the mouse: You press and hold the left mouse button somewhere on the main map and move the mouse - voila!

You can also click where you want to go on the mini-map.

Too bad that Control-arrow or Alt-arrow has not been mapped to the main screen. I 'd also love to be able to scroll the mini-map!

Alternate ways of moving I have found, but my preferred way is to push the edge of the screen, but it is malfunctioning in its current state.

Any word from Stardock on this issue?

I'm playing on big galaxies lately, and the mini-map is less helpful than I'd like. I'd like a simpler way to center it on the active ship, and a way to scroll it.
