Patch with no registration

So I got the game today from play.com, installed it and came here to get the patch. After going through the "install stardock" and register procedure I was kindly informed that the reg code on the back of my manual is invalid

I've emailed the stardock people to get it sorted but as I'm eager to play now with the latest version I was wondering if anyone knows of an alternate site to this one that I can get the patch from. If not then I guess I'll just have to wait for the wheels to turn and my invalid code to become valid...

I guess you got the Paradox distributed version from play.com, you might want to have a look here (Link) because it might solve your issue.
