Missing Textures on Ships and Planets

Just installed the game and noticed that the planets are invisible at all and the ships dont have any textures Downloaded the latest patch and installed the latest drivers for my gfx card. Tried again but nothing changed.
My System Specs: Athlon2800XP, Leadtek Geforce FX5700 128MB, 1024MB RAM, Windows XP Prof.

Any Ideas what it cud be or how i can solve that problem?

Can you post your debug.err file here so we can see some system specifics? I heard of people having this problem when windows was set to a non-english version, but I could be wrong.

I had the same problem. I use a europian version of the game and had my regional settings set to greek. I am from greece thats why. Well turning them to english (united states) solved my problem. Well that was not expected from me and a bit bothering i mite say. But anyway my problem and hopehully everyones texture problem will be solved by that. I hope.
