No Random Events

They're gone!

Afte playing a few games, I realised that I only encountered galactic random events (e.g. "Interest in all things foreign boosts influence") in my first couple of games. For quite a while now I haven't had any events at all!

Has anyone else experienced this? How to correct?

yes, I've noticed that random events seem to drop off whenever I load a saved game and play from that....no clue if its a bug or what...

Absence of chance..

I'm pretty sure that all of the "Choose good, neutral or evil" events die when you research Xeno Ethics..

But I hope I'm wrong..

The random events are just that...random. Sometime they happen, sometimes they dont...sometimes they happen often in the same game, sometimes not at all. Ive had plenty of random events playing from saved games.

The "lucky" racial ability can affect whether or not you recieve some random events, or the types you recieve.
