Bug: Government production bonuses not working

It appears that the government economic bonuses work, but hte government production bonuses are not applied. Here are some empire-wide stats from my current game:

EmpireTaxesMil SpendSoc SpendResearch Spend
Imperial1587234654744
Republic1743234654744
Democracy1904234654744
Federation2064234654744

To confirm that the bonus isn't applied for free (so that it doesn't show up in spending), I also compared the production on my homeworld:

HomeworldIncomeMilitarySocialResearch
Imperial21032015
Republic23132015
Democracy25232015
Federation27332015

Also, note that the government-type bonuses are not added to the F6 Statistics screen. My economic bonus, for example, appears as 35% under all government types.

Empire-wide social production bonuses not being applied is a known problem due to be fixed in the next patch. No idea about the rest of it.

Thanks - noticed this as well. Makes me almost not bother with even researching down that line, although the economic bonuses still make it worthwhile I guess.

Curiously, I just received the boxed edition in the mail today, and I note that the included manual (maybe the same as the PDF as well) only mentions the government economic bonuses. So, perhaps that is the only intended bonuses and the government descriptions are simply wrong?

Indeed. That's because the economic bonus is being applied, but the production and research bonuses are not. If it worked as the text described, your budget would have roughly the same amount of "profit" as it did before, but you'd be building and researching 25% more per turn.

I also suspect this may be the intended behavior, and it's just the text that's wrong. Can someone from Stardock clarify how it's supposed to work?
