SAVE its a bigiest Crap in this game i've ever seen

I have Played this game now for two days all time im finishing that game around 4am in a morning, reason games crashes....my pc



CPU » AMD Athlon™ XP 2500+ (Barton)

Mobo » MSI K7N2 Delta

1768 MB (1GB+256+512Mb DDR400/PC3200)

NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT



after all turns games sounds crashing just not normal plays its feels like processor slow....after all those turns feeling like soon it will crashes and after 2h playing games crashes meanwhile it was saved on that crash, next day you cant play from where crashed....the best choice to load saved game is not autosave or previous save its quicksave or endgame save they works perfect, i found one bug in game.....when you catch on a rout yours trade ship, and you want to delete it you can make trilions of money on that one but it will take around millions clicks, becouse at first time it will not delete it, its still in a list, when you closing a list then that ship dissapears from a list, but if you dont close that list you can make a milion of money.....so why in this game you can save free, wherever you want....becouse now i have to start to play game from a begining or try last days around dunno from 100 years ago...sorry for poor explanation...

If you're having problems with crashing, you can adjust the settings for autosave to the point it autosaves every turn.

Also, there should be a patch today or tomorrow that may address your crashing issues.

no its not necessery for patch HOHO there just simple UPDATE BLOODY VIDEO CARD DRIVERS....i did, and whit previous drivers crashes whit new ones everything working perfect no sound crashes after turn game mutch faster now weired 78.01_winxp2k_english_whql <-- i have those one and now im installed those one 81.98_win2kxp_english HOORAY Let those slaves now be aware of mighty hand, im allready invaded several planets waiting for technology and i will crashe those basters whose are under siege of my empire HOHHOHOHO

Prehaps you should have read the MANY posts in the forums that you MUST update your video drivers, or the README file that said the same, or the warning when you installed the game that your drivers needed updating before complain in these public forums!!! It makes the game look bad when it is really the user's fault!!!

i was havin problems with crashin in mid game as well. then i decided one day to defrag my system. guess what it works no crashing since. yes sometimes the simplest solution is the solution try it. you never know just might work.

LOL, some peeps should just maybe stick with their consoles, and buy one of them "newfangled gadget personal computer thingys" after they can legally drink a beer, or some other requirement.

I'm guessing (hoping) that they are not from an english speaking country. The sentence structure/syntax is screwed up so badly that I can't really believe that this person speaks english. No offence intended to Chigavelli, knowing multiple languages is commendable, even if you don't know them all well.

I love the title of this thread. I want to make it into a bumper sticker. Also, I have fully updated drivers on all my hardware and I still get a CTD from overheat so this might be his problem if it's not the autosave.

I am crashing with the latest video drivers installed. It is childish and simple-minded of you to conclude that most if not all crashes are due to old video drivers. When I hit the turn button sometimes the game crashes. It has nothing
to do with video, so start ysing your grain and shut your mouth unless you have something positive to add to the discussion.

It has nothing to do with the video drivers from the players end. It seems like most people with the GF6600 series are having problems. Including myself. Quicksave is a nice feature. No reason for the flames.

Hey now, I like consoles and handhelds...and I'm eagerly awaiting the Revolution in action... (what's with all the anti-console hostiliy, anyway? I thought it was only a legend spread by the paranoid.)

However, even with my. extensive experience reading gibberish (largely self-inflicted - curse you, fanfic =@.@= ) I'm still not sure what this person was complaining about. It's not the linguistics so much as the way they were all over the place with the topic. I'd appreciate it if they'd like to clarify, though. What I got out of it was that their saves crash and mess up and they found a money exploit from cancelling trade routes.

sorry for bad english, i was crazy that moment. Still same crap and whit new drivers, when i quicksaved it, guess what, crashed again yeah universal translator technology great... i wish we have that one in real life....

Can someone explain this...one race gave me all his planets it was around 9 planets now my population is around 130B they said save us or something like that
