Would you like a bonus pack with unique racial improvements?

As in the title thread would you like that in a future bonus pack would be introduced unique racial improvements or components?Do you think that is a good idea? Personally i would like a lot a bonus pack with unique buildings for race or unique racial ship modules (what do you think about an advanced freighter for Korx? ).

Not really because I like the flexibility to forge my own ship designs and develop my own planets regardless of race. I wouldn't want to feel like I had to play a particular race to get a particular ship component or building.

While I'm sure it'd be fun for each race to have some unique bling for starship design, I don't think the races need to have specific boosts. I'm all for new and nifty things being entered into the tech tree, though, like the alignment specific buildings.

I still haven't seen the alignment specific weapons and defenses yet though.

Alignment specific defenses (good) don't work yet. They'll fix this with the version 1.0X though, I believe. The Psionic Weapons (evil) are great though. Allows you to be done researching weapons way ahead of time.

I'd like to see some race specific components....in fact i was shocked when, after playing my first game as the Terrans, I started a new game as the Drath and there WASN'T any race specific ship parts. No biggie, it's just that when almost every other part of a game gives you just what you want you tend to get a little spoiled.

I think it's a good idea. Always gives at least one unique attribute to each race that cannot be taken by the others. Would think that that should also apply to custom races. Want the Drengin headbanging modifer, play the Drengin.

My idea was to give for every single race a building or a module which would increase personality of races.
The first that came to my mind was an advanced freighter module for mercenaries korx.For drengin could be added a new powerful weapon, iconians a better research center,thalan a slave labour factory ,drath mmmm intelligence should be first improved and then add something to them, yor a superproject which allow them a +5 or +10 miniaturization abilities, arceans new defense and so on.

Hm... that might be interesting , but what about custom rases ? - give a choice of one of such buildings ?

It would also satisfy me a lot but i don't think we will see it in a bonus pack, in one thread one of the developers explained that to complete one single hull were necessary nearly 8 hours considering that there are 5 unique race hulls, nearly 75 hulls would be projected but hoping doesn't hurt

Unique race techs were one of the things that made Space Empires IV cool. Actually, it wasn't "unique" exactly. In that game's race creation screen, you could use some of your points to select Organic Manipulation or Temporal Manipulation or Psychic Powers or whatever. Only races that bought those advantages could research or use that tech.

Something like that is among the few things that could make GalCiv 2 even cooler than it already is.

I think something unique for each race would be cool.

KorxMart, Terran Theme Parks, Drengin Slave Traders, Yor "Skynet"-Class Mainframes, etc.
