Crashing comstantly during or right after autosaves

This is really starting to annoy me.
I am encountering more and more ctds.
It crashes about every 4rth autosave, and othertimes i cant pin down the timing on.

This is a good game.

But i dont think it is stable enough to have been sold.

I'm with you on that, it is very annoying because not only does it crash but the autosave is corrupted and any attempts to load it result in an immediate CTD. I also notice that this can happen on quicksaves. It seemed to be way more frequent before the patch though (for the quicksaves, the autosaves seem to be still rather frequent).

I have a quick theory I just wanted to lay out there, I may be noticing a correlation between these autosave CTD's and when it autosaves upon a researched tech!?!? Just thought that could be something, maybe not....

I had to quite a game and completely give up on it becuase after I hit "end turn" it just hangs. I'd give ie a couple minutes to try to run its course but wouldn't come out of it. I was able to do a quick save, come back to the game and try again. Several times that method worked, but after awhile it didn't and it just hung everytime from that point. Is this a memory optimization issue?
