Disbanding a fleet within a stack

Can you do this? If you have a stack of fleets and or ships, can you select one fleet and disband it? The only way I have been able to do that is move the fleet to an empty space, then I can click the disband fleet button.

This is something I've been asking about since when the game came out. When you have ships in a stack you lose a lot of functionality over controling them. As well you don't get the detailed information you would if they were by themselves. I really hope they fix the stacking issues.
The only way around this is to constantly move fleets/ships out of stacks to organize them.

Well if StarDock was man enough to admit that their tooltips suck I guess they do recognize that their fleet system needs some polishing aswell!

You CAN actually disband fleets inside a stack by using the U keyboard button.
Just select the fleets you want to disband and work the U magic.
