Did you destroy any ships in orbit first? You can't land troops until there aren't any defending ships.

You can tell if there are ships there if you click on it (and look to see if any are in orbit, even constructers prevent troops from landing), or simply looking to see if the little grey shield is next to the planet.

Ohhhhhhhh. I didnt know that thanks. Also I have another question, how do you get orbital fleet control, its not on the tech tree!

Orbital fleet command is on the planetary defense branch, and to remove ships from enemy planets you have to kill them.

Orbital fleet control is from the Planetary Defense tech, or one along that line.

To get the ships in orbit out of orbit, just click on the planet, click the ship's icon, and click Launch Ship. OR, double click it. OR right right click the blue icon on the right hand of the screen that appears after a new ship is built. Unless you mean how you get enemy ships out, in which case you just attack the planet with a ship that has some attack ability.

You blow them up. It's just like attacking a ship that's not in orbit: try to move one of your warships onto that space.

You know...one of these days I'm going to get a huge cowboy like belt buckle that says RTFM...perhaps much like the beloved Troll song someone will make a RTFM song to attach to posts like this. Sorry bud but the answers you are looking for could be more quickly answered by simply READING your manual.

Give him a break he is young. I see some weird quetsions from adults that could be answered by a quick glance at the manual. But this kid is only 13. I'm not saying his not capable at that age but things are more easly overlooked.
