One of the few things that really bugs me!

When you get a message saying XXX world has build XXX. There is no mini map in the planet viewer, so i dont know if the planet is a border world and needs a starport and influence buildings making, or if its a back water planet miles from the front line that is ripe for a research or economy build.

Any chance we can have a world map, that just shows the planets location in relation to your empire? would stop me having to come out of the planet screen and double check it proximity.

Thanks

I HIGHLY suggest filling up your Build Queue when dealing with planets. Most of the time, you can determine what to build on the planet when you colonize it, hopefully fixing your issue.

However, there's no reason we can't eventually put a button that brings up the minimap with the planet on it...it'll just have to wait until the other bugs get stomped out

Yea it would be useful, sometimes im not sure what i want a planet to be, a backwater planet can be my front line if things go badly, so i usually Queue up a factory and other imp until im sure. I'll put up with it for now

Nirvana, it's in there. When the GNN pops up select your event and click the GOTO button, you will then center on the planet where the event originated.

Boogiebac: I'd like to call up the GNN in the turn after it expires, because I want to cruise around, but click done and it doesn't return. Prehaps a "GNN Report" button that appears when you get the popup report could do this?
