+ and - keys?

Just a note from those of us without middle mouse buttons or wheels. According to the tutorial, the + and - are supposed to zoom the tactical map. They only seem to work on the strategic map in the corner. You have a dial next to it to set it's zoom rate, could you please tell me how to get the zoom on to my main map. You guys did such a beautiful job with it, I hate not being able to take it all in. Thanks in advance for your reply.

The - and + keys at the end of the numbers row at the top of your keyboard works for the main map, the - and + on the numpad works for the minimap. That help?

Thanks for the logical answer gbuchold, that's all I needed. As for the $5 mouse, I am aware of the product, but my lovely wife has used the same keyboard with a built in touchpad for over seven years now and the damn thing won't break! (And yes, I've tried the old Coke + Keyboard = New Keyboard and Mouse. Let's just say she's unusually handy at fixing things.) Therefore, for the sake of harmony in my life, I use the touchpad when I'm at home, which is where I enjoy playing GalCiv II. Again, thanks for the responses.
