Resetting racial bonuses and the search function on this page

2 things;

First, how do I reset the racial bonuses in the race selection screen?

Second, whats the deal with the search function on this web page. I type in a search term, click search, and.... nothing.

??

Shouldn't I either get some search results or a page that says "no search results"?

Yeah, I wondered how I would reset the Terran Alliance attributes as well, to the default... or is the +6% to Logistics their only real racial bonus and the rest really up to us?

On the third screen starting a new game click on abilities. Of course you can only set the abilities on the race you are playing.

To reset to default click reset and click back and start over when you return to the abilities screen they will be set to what I suppose is default. I notice that left on their own the AI does not seem to use all the points available and there is nothing you can do about that if you aren'y playing as that race.

I'm not sure that once you have played as a race, the elective abilities actually have a default it may just default back to the last abilities chosen. If I pick the Altarians and look at the abilities screen I find that they have 5 unused points, I can pick something to use those points but if I change my mind about play Altarian it goes back to -5.

To reset the races to default you can choose custom race, load and then delete the CurrentCustomRaceX where X is a number from 0 to 9 depending on which race it is. For example 0 is terran and 9 is Iconian.
You can also delete these files in My 'Folders\My Games\GalCiv2\' where they are stored.
