Planet Quality bug

When I use "Soil Enhancement" to upgrade a planet's quality (i.e. from 11 to 13) and then save that game; if I exit the game and load the game back, on the main screen or the planet list screen it says that the planet is back to a quality level of 11. However, going into the planet screen for the individual planet I sount that there are 13 usable tiles (including my upgraded tiles).

Thanks,

Jorge

I have noticed the same thing and hoped that it would be fixed in version 1.11, however, the problem is still there. Does anyone know if this has any effect on gameplay, and if it will be fixed in 1.2?

Not sure if it has any affect on gameplay but a good way to find out is to find a nice class 8 world, after the tile techs it should be class 10 or 11 and you can look up in aproval to see if you have the +10% highq bonus. Save and load the game and check approval to see if you still have the highq bonus.

My bet would be no btw but thats about as far as pq number seems to matter.

It's too bad pq and tiles aren't linked and if you have a higher pq ability that you can't upgrade the planet build tiles after a capture, that would slow you down more...

Hi!
Does anyone know if this has any effect on gameplay

You lose pop growth on those small planet (class 4 or 5), that were terraformed to higher values. They will be reverted to their original values, and the pop growth limits will apply. I.E. class 4 will not grow by itself over 2.56B.
The solution is to play as neutral. Planets will always have their max terra values.

BTW that bug is known from 1.0x, and is still not fixed. Bad Stardock!
