How to get badges into forum signature?

Hi all, was wondering if anyone knows how to get the 'ranks' and 'badges' from metaverse into the forum signature?

Well, I've been using both IE and Opera and have set my "default" character, and it seems the medals show up completely RANDOMLY for me, and its quite irritating.....any idea how to get them to show all the time? Oh and yes, I am logged in all the time I'm in the forums.

My "Default" buttons for my characters are blacked out, and I can't push them. Did this happen to anyone else?

Mine was grey too initially. I somehow got around it. I guess it had something to do with creating another chracter.
