How to get badges into forum signature?

Supposedly, they should auto-transfer once you get a few. Mine just kind've showed up.

I've been waiting for mine too, but they've yet to show up.

For me, they only show up if, before I post, I go to the Metaverse portion of the site, logout, and log back in.

Like here, for instance. (I hope.)

yeah I wondered about this too. you need to go to the "Edit your Metaverse Characters"-Page and then click on "Default" once @ the character whose stats you want to show up here. The Default-Button should then be highlighted and the icons appear then.

How come i have a human icon while i only submitted Yor games? i want a yor icon or a drath icon, anythin but human

edit: it shows the human icon when i look up my character in the metaverse or in the meta-in game

mine was also showing only human, and it may still be, while I've only played as Thalan and Custom

The "Default" setting works for me.

I followed these steps, and my icons show up now in all the posts I have ever made.

I show up as the human icon in the metaverse as well, though I've only submitted one Yor game, and my icon in the forum is Yor.

i spent couple of days before i finally figured it out.

I did everything that was suggested, and at first it didn't work, but now that I posted in another thread (and did again the procedure uner internet explorer instead of firefox) I can see the badges in my posts as well in a lot of people here that I don't remember seeing before. So I guess something worked

However the game I submitted lists as unranked. Anyone knows why or what it means?

Probably due to the fact that the metaverse doesn't update automatically every time someone submits a score. From what I have noted the mv has specific times it does an archive and backup. After that time than your score shall be ranked, position added, medals awarded.

Thankee, Coplann, that never occurred to me either! When they finish getting all the kinks worked out, having it so that the first character you make gets marked as "Default" might be a good minor refinement.

Ah ... that must be my problem. I refuse to use IE unless I am forced to, with Firefox as my preferred browser. No wonder I'm not seeing many badges. It makes me wonder, though: why do I see some posters' badges, yet not others? It looks like I see badges on maybe 10% of posts. Guess I'll flip over to IE (grr...) to check it out. Thanks for the tips, all!

EDIT: Yes, it is a Firefox thing. Works great on IE, not on Firefox. Hopefully this will get fixed eventually, though I'd rather the focus be on tweaking the game instead of the forums....

Urushiol, I think there is something else. When I posted that I could see the badges in both IE and firefox. Now they aren't there anymore

Yeh I think its an intermitten issue with the forums. For some reason the badges / medals came back but the moment I posted, the medals disappeared on my side of the screen. Just weird.
