How are points calculated?

It seems to me that you don't simply get the points from your last game added.

Anyone know?

To elaborate, I've submitted 4 games to the Metaverse, for 52244 pts total, but I've only got 24948 pts "officially". My last ~20k game barely made a difference to my score.
