I am still waiting for my pre-ordered copy (CE supposedly) from EB Games. I was so frsutrated, that I went looking, and only found copies at the best Buy in Woodlands Hills, SFV California.

They had 4 copies. While I tried to take a picture, one fellow bought one, so I decided to buy one, and only two are left.

I called my Walmart and they have not received the game yet. So can I take a picture of my CE box and enter in the T-Shirt thing? I wan a Thalian civ size 3x.

Best Buy Newington, CT - right outside of Hartford - where urban style galactic battles occur on a daily basis.

Incidentally, after this photo the game was moved up to the top of the shelf for extra retailer frontage points.

All right, so I had a little fun with this, I hope you will forgive my self-indulgence.

My little man and I head to the local Best Buy (Durham, North Carolina). His big first birthday is coming up in a week, need some ideas, right? We head to the game section to see what he wants to play (hey, we gotta teach 'em young, right?).

He makes a beeline straight for the last copy of . . . Gal Civ II!



Well, we know what he wants to play now! The only trouble is getting it out of his hands!



"Oh, look daddy! I can rule the galaxy with my drool covered iron fist!"



Fortunately, a melt-down was avoided and we made it out the store with no major incidence!

My roommate and I, being intrepid sorts, decided to embark on The Ultimate Scavenger Hunt. And lo and behold, it was at the Wal-Mart in Chicopee, Massachusetts that we were able to check one more item off our list.

(Erm, sorry about no thumbnail... I want to save my bandwidth a little!)

I don't have a digital camera so I did what I could think of, buy the game and scan the box. If it doesn't count, well maybe next time. If it does count WOOHOO! I shrunk the picture down some to save bandwith. My orginal scan was around 830x1145.

I bought this at Best Buy in Indianapolis, Indiana on East Washington Street. They had 2 copies left today. Wal-Mart just down the street had 1 Collector's Edition (which I saw after I bought this....grrr) and the Wal-Mart in Greenfield, Indiana had 1 Collector's Edition (again which I saw after I bought this copy....lol).
