Cheesy Fleet Movement Tactic

A little bit of cheese for you using fleets. This is not a bug, but it may not really make a difference either.
1. Form a fleet. Faster ships are better.
2. move the fleet until it has 1/x moves remaining, i.e. one move left.
3. disband one ship.
4 Fleet now has a full allotment of movement points.
5. repeat until destination is gained or fleet has one ship left.
Pardon if this has already been noticed, I suck with search features. This kind of thing seems only good for a colonizer rush or constructor rush, but can also get a defensive fleet to a needed point rapidly, I suppose.
