German Language

Hi, all

I’m form Germany and bought the game just a few minutes ago because I couldn’t wait to play the game;-). I’m just wondering if it is possible to get the Germany language files later on?? I hope it is possible…

Many Thanks

I can wait, especially since the download from tg.net is about $10 more then the boxed version from play.com. But since I had some bad experience with play.com (actually with long delivery times dues to customs, so its not really play.coms fault), I will wait till the game is avaliable in germany, hopefully it will be in the same low pricing range.
But to my question, if I buy the german version can I set the language to english?

P.S. Why is the price on tg.net so high?

Just download it and you get the nice original english version. It's not really that expensive...

Its $44,95 (strangely enough on the stardock news they advertise it at $39,95) and at play.com I can get it for about $34,80 (€28,99) and I get the original english version, a cd (or dvd?) and a most likely a manual.
So why should I pay almost 30% more to get less?

If you see it like that.... I just skip the next six pack beer or two and with that money saved play the game weeks before most of Germany even knows about it...

Well, if you want only the download version, you should take a look to the pricing with totalgaming. net

BTW, don't forget shipping cost and possible custom taxes if you order a physical copy from Stardock.

@Gecko: Its not about the money, well it is kinda since I dont want to pay $10 more to download it, and if I really wanted to play the game now I would download it. But I can wait and since the game wont be less enjoyable in a few weeks I will wait. With the money saved I can spend the time drinking beer (kidding)
@Peace:
I took a look at the pricing at totalgaming.net (tg.net actually stands for totalgaming.net in my previous posts) and its way higher then the retail version. Thats what my second question is all about. Since tg.net doesnt have to pay for a box, manual and dvd and doesnt have to share the profits with a 3rd party they should be able to offer the game for less then they cost in stores, not for more. I remember reading some stardock blogs that put an emphasis on that point when they praised tg.net.
PS: play.com sends without shipping cost and even with customs (which you dont have to pay every time) it would still be cheaper then downloading it. And if german stores will follow the retail pricing customs wont be an issue anyway. Hence my question about switching to english on a german version.

But the main question was about the german language lets not forget that.
