I wish the game would not go to the next turn if all my ships have not moved.

Is there any way to set the game to do this? Its so frustrating when I miss a ship I need to move and click the turn button!

There is a way to do it in options..just look for Auto-turn. I forget what the exact setting is.

Yes, There is an option along the lines of "Auto turn after all ships have been moved"

The catch is though it assumes that you want to move ALL of the ships belonging to you that are not in orbit

The op was not asking for the auto-turn after all ships have been moved, but to prevent a turn unless all ships have been moved.

There is (AFAIK) no way to specifically prevent you from ending a turn - but what they did is that the Turn button turns (no pun intented) green when you have moved all your ship. So, all you need is be careful and don't hit Turn unless it is green...

Heck I thought it turned green cause I was playing as a Torian.

Is there any way to take ships OFF the "don't turn green if this ship hasn't moved" list? I've tried a few things, but I still can't figure out how to "park" a defensive fleet on top of a threatened starbase when, say, the previous tenants just had an accident and I just HAPPENED to have a constructor -- and a battlefleet! -- ready to replace it...

Best you can do is set 'em to guard. "g"'s the shortcut.

As my friend Darkrenown said, by putting them into guard or sentry mode, it will not look at them when checking to see if all ships have moved and hence turn the "End Turn" button GREEN

The shortcut for sentry mode is "s". I still have problems getting used to the "Tab" button for skipping over a fleet for later commands this turn. I keep pressing "w" (which is used in various other 4X games like Civ or Alpha Centauri) and watch my ships as they unexpectately go exploring the galaxy.
