Forums work with Firefox?

Hi all,

Just wondering, but I can't seem to log into the forums using Firefox. IE works fine, but I hate IE.

Is this just me, or am I doing something wrong.

Thanks,

Neumannium

I'm using Firefox and it works just fine and dandy for me. Doublecheck your security settings? Maybe you need to enable cookies.

No, it's a little bit strange. I could not log in yesterday, too. Today i have been logged in automatically, some problems with the cookies i think?

I am using Firefox 1.5.0.1, nothing changed since yesterday.

I use firefox too (when at home) and have been having some issues as well. Specially with editing my posts. And even loading the forums, it takes forerever. But maybe that's not due to my configuration.

I also have trouble refreshing the list of posts: it won't update correctly. This happens whatever navigator I use.

There are some things with the forum that are a bit weird in Firefox, in particular the login box.

One thing that can help is if you use AdBlock Plus to add galciv2.com to your whitelist. Also allow popups for galciv2.com.

If you are having login issues with any stardock websites, you can delete your *stardock.com, *galciv2.com, or *(domain name) cookies - or simply clear all cookeis. Every now and then they get a little discombobulated

I have the latest firefox. it works fine for me. Maybe you have an anti-spyware extension running and it's interfering with your ability to save log-in cookies.

I don't have any login issues with firefox but the site does seem to load considerably slower then under IE.

Sorry, but I don't have Adblock, I use Firefox 1.5.0.1, and I can't login. Refreshing seems fine, but the login button seems dead. Perhaps it has to do with .aspx being Microsoft? But obviously, not every Firefox user is having the same problem, so perhaps I can't blame MS. I cannot log in to either the downloads, or the forum. The nick name and password fields are live, along with create account and send password, but the button next to it is dead.

And doh! I just found out that although the button is dead, if I just press enter instead of trying to click the nonfunction button, that works.
