Do the tile-bonuses work?

I decided to make a research-planet, finding a 19 planet with a precursor artifact tile (+300% research, it says). Now, I have on that planet the initial colony (+10 research), 4 xenolabs (+9 research each) and 2 research centers (+12 research each). So that's 10+36+24=7+ research. And that's what it says in the summary of the planets various productions.

But one of the xenolabs is on the +300%-tile, where did that bonus go? Is it hidden?

Hmm, looking at a planet with a +100% food tile with a farm on, it does produce 20 mt \ week. Yet the summary says 15 mt \ week. It could be an idea to have the summary state count in the tile-bonuses. Or did I take a wrong turn somewhere and misunderstand the whole thing?

what are your global spending setting and your research settings? And what is your empire reserch bonus?

You should expect:
10 + 4*9 + 9*3 +24 = 10 + 36 + 27 + 24 = 97 research with 100% spending AND 100% research ( = no spending on military and social) and NO research bonus.

But have you looked at the planetary screen, as it is possible that research bonus from precusor artifact are free and don't appear on summary settings.

Currently I do not believe the summary shows hte bonuses, yet they are definitely there. I found a +700% manufacturing tile once. My production immediately soared to over 20. So they definitely work.

I have found that social production bonuses do not work. When you start a new game, you are wasteing points if you select any social production bonus. Military production bonus works just fine.

Where do you get those 9*3 from?

EDIT: D'oh... I see, from the 300% xenolabs bonus.

I noticed, too, that it seems like tile bonuses don't show up in the summary, but they are applied nonetheless.
