Graphics flutter bug

In about half the games I play, I have this problem so much the game is unplayable.

Anytime I scroll in any direction,, the grid disappears and the screen flutters around a nebula (in 3-d). After a bit, it will re-center on whatever active ship I have. As soon as I scroll again, l resume the nebula flutter. I can play without scrolling, but that is a major hassle.

Yea, I.m getting the same issue. Also the stuttering affects ship rotation and planet rotation in certain screens.

Running Windows XP Pro x32
Amd athalon XP64 4200 x2 processor
Nvidia gforce 7800gt x2 video cards
2 gigs Ram
